Requirements
Ruida mode requires a helper component. When you enter Ruida mode, Light Lane will direct you to download it from the Light Lane website.
Ruida workflow features are available on Pro and above.
How Ruida mode differs from the standard workflow
Ruida mode is more restrictive than the normal job flow:
- only a single SVG file can be used at a time
- importing a new SVG replaces the previous one
- the file picker is labeled
Select SVGrather thanOpen Image
Prepare your artwork as a clean, single-layer SVG before importing.
Practical guidance
- Keep your job layout simple
- Work with SVG files
- Expect some differences compared to the standard G-code workflow
- If the machine connection behaves differently in Ruida mode, check the Connect Your Laser page for general troubleshooting steps
Feedback
Ruida support is under active development. If you run into issues or unexpected results, feedback is appreciated while the feature is in alpha.
