Light Lane End User License Agreement
This EULA applies to the Light Lane desktop software and related updates made available by Light Lane Limited. By downloading, installing, activating, or using the software, you agree to this agreement.
Licence grant and permitted use
Effective date: 29 March 2026.
Subject to these terms and any applicable commercial plan, Light Lane Limited grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Light Lane desktop application for your own personal or internal business use. The licence covers the object-code version of the software, associated updates, and documentation we make available for the same product line.
Your right to use the software may depend on a valid account, trial, subscription, activation, or entitlement check. Some features may require internet connectivity, while other workflows may support offline or air-gapped activation where that is expressly offered.
Restrictions, updates, and ownership
Restrictions
You must not copy, distribute, resell, sublicense, lease, publicly make available, modify, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, bypass technical restrictions, or attempt to extract source code from the software except to the extent that mandatory law clearly permits it despite this restriction.
Updates and third-party components
We may release updates, fixes, compatibility changes, or feature changes at any time. Some updates may be required for continued compatibility, security, or licensing. The software may also include or rely on third-party or open-source components that remain subject to their own licence terms.
Ownership
The software is licensed, not sold. Light Lane Limited and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the software, updates, documentation, branding, and related materials.
Warranty disclaimer, liability, and termination
Light Lane is an actively developed product and may include beta or alpha workflows, controller paths, or compatibility limits. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the software is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted performance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Light Lane Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of production time, revenue, data, or profits arising from use of the software. Our aggregate liability under this EULA is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the affected software entitlement in the 12 months before the claim or 100 NZD. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
This EULA continues until terminated. It terminates automatically if you materially breach it. Upon termination, you must stop using the software and delete or uninstall all copies under your control. This EULA is governed by the laws of New Zealand, and disputes will be handled by the courts of New Zealand unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
